Yes, I did see Dana's work on O Magazine. But I was beginning to wonder whether we had all been caught up in the faff of the art world when people started calling it fine art when, in fact, it's just signwriting. My cousin, who is a signwriter by trade, does exactly this for a living - in chalk, paint, spray and other mediums.

Thank you for not following suit and calling it what it is: lettering.

Yes, Dana is an excellent signwriter and I do like those paperweights. But is she an artist? No.
