    We're expanding... literally! Janine is expecting a baby in March and so the physical retail store in Art Central will be on hiatus/maternity leave for the first half of 2010. Rest assured that UPPERCASE will be part of the Art Central community for many years to come, but the focus will be on publishing UPPERCASE magazine and books as well as expanding our line of papergoods. When we’re in the studio, you are more than welcome to come in, shop our unique products, peruse the books we’ve published and subscribe to the magazine. Our online shop is open 24-hours a day. Shipping of orders continues without interruption.

    Issue 3: first look at the cover!

    Issue 3 is uploading to the printer at this very moment! Here's the cover, photographed by the amazing Adrian Gaut, featuring the beautiful axes by Best Made Co.

    Here are some photos of the cover mockup (this is just an inkjet printout; issue 3 won't be shipping for a few weeks yet):

    I've only recently subscribed and found issue 2 in the post today. Such a treat! I'm going on holiday this week (Baltic Sea if you ask - I'm living in Germany) and the magazine is coming with me. I had a bit of sneak peak earlier - it looks so inspiring. And to think that issue 3 will wing its way over here soon... looking forward to it already.
