We're expanding... literally! Janine is expecting a baby in March and so the physical retail store in Art Central will be on hiatus/maternity leave for the first half of 2010. Rest assured that UPPERCASE will be part of the Art Central community for many years to come, but the focus will be on publishing UPPERCASE magazine and books as well as expanding our line of papergoods. When we’re in the studio, you are more than welcome to come in, shop our unique products, peruse the books we’ve published and subscribe to the magazine. Our online shop is open 24-hours a day. Shipping of orders continues without interruption.

    Open First Thursdays 5-9pm

Unbelievably fine paper cutouts by Hina Aoyama. (More about her here) "They are super fine lacy-paper-cuttings done by a simple pair of scissors. My passion is to create a finest cutoff beyond the level of the very time-consuming needle lace making. I don't follow traditional but I am trying to create a mixture of the traditional and modern styles and to produce my own world through this super fine lacy-paper-cuttings technique."
