    We're expanding... literally! Janine is expecting a baby in March and so the physical retail store in Art Central will be on hiatus/maternity leave for the first half of 2010. Rest assured that UPPERCASE will be part of the Art Central community for many years to come, but the focus will be on publishing UPPERCASE magazine and books as well as expanding our line of papergoods. When we’re in the studio, you are more than welcome to come in, shop our unique products, peruse the books we’ve published and subscribe to the magazine. Our online shop is open 24-hours a day. Shipping of orders continues without interruption.

    Lighting the way to your nightmares

    Possibly because I've been immersed in our current gallery theme, nightmares, I am finding things that are somewhat off-kilter quite appealing. Like these hand-blown light bulbs by Pieke Bergmans, via SwissMiss. Disolving and liquefaction are some of the themes explored by our artists in the nightmares show.
